Digitalisasi Data Kependudukan Melalui Sistem Informasi Desa sebagai Upaya Penguatan Administrasi Desa di Desa Kalimango

Abstract

The digitization of population data is one of the efforts to improve the order and efficiency of village administration. This study aims to describe the process of digitizing population data through the Village Information System (SID) and to identify its contribution to strengthening the administration of Kalimango Village. The method used is qualitative descriptive research with a community service approach through assistance with digitization and updating of population data. The activity was carried out through the stages of identification, organization, data entry, verification, and mentoring of village officials in the use of the SID. The results of the activity show that the population data of Kalimango Village comprising 3,785 residents and 1,032 households across four hamlets has been organized and managed digitally. Evaluation results showed a 90% success rate in data entry, an 85% understanding of the SID system, an 85% rate of data updates, and an 80% success rate in managing village information and operator autonomy, respectively. Data digitization contributes to administrative order, efficient data management, ease of information retrieval, and the updating of population data. The continued use of the SID requires regular data updates and capacity building for village officials so that data management can be carried out consistently and sustainably.
